Graeme Smith has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer of Jersey Business - he also becomes a Director of the Board.
Graeme has over 25 years' experience as a senior banker, having worked at NatWest and RBS International. He moved to Jersey in 2003 with RBS International and headed up a team of over 70 people, with responsibility for corporate and institutional business in Jersey and Gibraltar. He has extensive experience in the public as well as the private business sector. He led RBS International’s role as joint underwriters in the recent States of Jersey’s successful £250 million Public Bond issue.
Jersey Business is an independent body set up to assist economic recovery and business growth through a wide range of advisory products and services. The organisation is grant funded by the States of Jersey and works with businesses of all sizes across all economic sectors, from start up to exit.
