Deutsche Bank has made a series of senior appointments to strengthen its risk and compliance teams in the Channel Islands.
Andrew Trachy joins Deutsche Bank as Head of Risk Management for Deutsche Asset and Wealth Management in the Channel Islands and Cayman, whilst the Bank’s Compliance team has also increased its presence in Jersey with the appointments of Christine Jervier and Pippa Davidson as Senior Compliance Advisors.
Joining from HSBC Private Bank where most recently he was Deputy Chief Operating Officer in the Channel Islands, at Deutsche Bank Andrew is responsible for all aspects of operational risk management, risk monitoring and reporting. Based in Jersey, Andrew will work closely with the Bank’s Compliance team to ensure a seamless integration between business risk management and the compliance function, whilst his team also has secondary level oversight for liquidity, market, credit and reputational risk.
Within the Compliance team, Christine will provide primary compliance coverage for the Bank’s Corporate Services, Banking and Investment divisions in Jersey and act as Deutsche Bank’s Money Laundering Reporting Officer.
Pippa, who joins Deutsche Bank’s Compliance team from Fairway Fund Services Limited, will provide primary coverage for compliance related matters in respect of Deutsche Bank’s funds business.
