David Wilson joins Lacey Advocates

David Wilson Lacey AdvocatesLacey Advocates have appointed David Wilson to the firm’s specialist team of Litigation and Regulatory Advocates.

David brings with him over 25 years’ experience in conducting commercial litigation, trusts, financial services and insolvency cases, with a large portion of that spent as a senior litigation partner in Jersey.

David moved to Jersey in 1993, joining Mourants where he and Beverley Lacey, Lacey Advocates Founder, were Partners together for a number of years. David most recently worked at Baker & Partners as a Partner and Advocate before joining Lacey Advocates.

David has acted as lead advocate in many of the most complex disputes to come before the Jersey courts. Recently acting successfully for the applicants in cases which established Jersey law in relation to proprietary claims and setting aside trusts.

David’s role in Lacey Advocates will be to continue to lead the various commercial litigation, trusts, regulatory and insolvency cases he has ongoing, as well as developing the firm’s practice in those areas.
