Barclays has appointed Norson Harris as a Director in the bank’s Global Investments and Solutions Trust (GI&S Trust) division in Jersey.
In his new role, Norson will focus on building and maintaining the existing complex fiduciary relationships with Barclays’ clients based in Europe, the Middle East and Far East.
He has over 25 years of experience working in the international financial services industry as a fiduciary, company director and wealth manager.
Norson's previous roles include director of The Charlesworth Group, a private Family Office, and Founder and Managing Director of The Kensington Group, a trust and wealth management group based in Guernsey.
Norson is a law graduate and barrister, and has held a number of non-executive directorships in both the commercial and fund sectors and is recognised for his experience in regulated industries.
He has also sat on a number of professional and government sponsored committees, including the Education Committee of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners in Guernsey as its Chairman, and as a member of the Inheritance Law Review Committee of the States of Guernsey.
