Business support services provider, Law At Work (Channel Islands) Limited (“LAW”), recently acquired Jon Wilkins & Co. Jersey Limited (“JWL”), an established Health and Safety consultancy in a move which expands the firm’s health and safety services division.LAW is a Channel Islands-based provider of employment relations and human resources consultancy, health and safety consultancy, training and event management services to employers across the islands. The acquisition of JWL, which specialises in health and safety consultancy within the construction industry, not only expands LAW’s client base but increases its headcount as LAW has taken on JWL staff members in a deal which sees no redundancies being made.“This is an excellent move for both JWL and LAW,” said Kelly Flageul, Managing Director of LAW. “By combining the strengths of the two companies, LAW is now set to become the leading provider of health and safety services to the Channel Island’s business community. We have welcomed David Ward and Patrick Guyomard into our team and are looking forward to working with them to build LAW’s health and safety capabilities.”Between them, David and Patrick worked at JWL for 15 years and they have both worked within the health and safety field since the mid-1980s.
